Dave Bassett is an American songwriter and record producer with many charting singles and two ASCAP Pop awards. In 2015 Bassett co-wrote the platinum hit ''Fight Song'' with Rachel Platten which reached #1 on the iTunes charts and #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. He also co-wrote and produced Elle King's alternative hit ''Ex's and Oh's''. In addition, Bassett co-wrote the grammy winning song ''Love Bites'' with Halestorm. Bassett is also known for writing hit songs for Fitz and the Tantrums, Walk Off The Earth, Shinedown, Pop Evil, Josh Groban, Idina Menzel and Daughtry.
